A suite offering the exclusive view to the north direction. None of the manor's many other windows offer a commanding view to the north.
A suite named after the most fragrant lavender in our lavender field. Its long graceful spikes have fragrant and delicate white blooms.

The Inn at Springfield Manor is the perfect romantic getaway, weekend excursion, or outdoor adventure. Enjoy the intimate charm and awesome grandeur of a large country estate. Explore the nearby shops, orchards, parks, streams, historic sites, covered bridges, and amazing restaurants which abound in Frederick County. Bring your hiking shoes and visit some of Marylands best scenic vistas - Chimney rock & Bob's Rock. Sweeping views of idyllic pastures and expansive mountainscapes are a visually amazing. Visit the cornfields whose yield produces our Bourbon, Rye, and Corn Whiskeys. Walk the vineyard and Maryland's largest lavender field to see the 2600 plants of various varieties. Spend the evenings stargazing at a night sky void of visual city light. Sit and relax by a private fire pit (seasonal) or come enjoy the live music and food offered at the onsite winery-brewery-distillery - A 10% off wine, beer & spirits gift certificate is included in your stay (doesn't include food truck). A third floor suite named after the variety of French Lavender planted in our lavender field. Provence is prized for its long fragrant lavender blossoms
Reservation & Cancellation Policy
Reservations are secured by credit card payment in full. All cancellations are subject to a $25/per room cancellation fee. The balance of your payment is refundable only if cancellation is made at least 15 days prior to your scheduled arrival. Holidays and stays of more than 3 nights require 30 days notice to receive a refund of the payment less the fee.
Note: Weddings/Events are occasionally hosted at the Inn. Most guests enjoy the music, but if this is a concern please email or call to inquire about specific dates.
Check-in: 3:00pm (latest check-in is 11pm unless arrangements made)
Check-out: 11am.
Two guests maximum per suite. Due to the size and nature of the property, the Inn cannot accommodate children or pets.
Named after the estate's original owner, James Johnson, who built The Catoctin Furnace. The suite's name is also a tribute to the current owner, John, whose three sons have spent over a decade restoring grandeur to this historic estate.
Named after one of the many prized birds which frequent Springfield. Red tail hawks, woodpeckers, killdeer, & even bald eagles are just some of the many birds often spotted on the estate.
A intimately small and cozy second floor suite. It is indeed charming and beautiful like Victoria herself. The tiny suite is a diminutive jewel, adorned with a built in cabinet and decorative fireplace.
A suite named after Edgar Allan Poe. He reportedly spent his honeymoon night at Springfield Manor and carved his name in the glass windowpane with a diamond wedding ring
Known as our bridal suite, is named after the magnificent specimen tree between the manor & the barn. This beautiful tree was said to have been imported from Europe by the Johnson Family.
